Do any of the chain health food stores (such as Whole Foods, Central Market, etc) sell Dr. Bronner's Magic Soap in bulk? Also, do you know what the bulk price typically is?

  1. A gallon runs for $40 to $50 and a 64-ounce bottle retails for between $22 and $27 for the magic soap.

I don't know any chain stores that are guaranteed to sell it. The Vitamin Shoppe does sell it online (on Amazon.com for instance) and may sell it in. They have stores on both coasts and somewhat inland. Go to www.vitaminshoppe.com to find a store near you; call and ask about it. They may even be willing to ship it to a store where you can buy it. I'd suggest mail-order from Amazon, but shipping a gallon of soap isn't cheap.

And good choice. We love our Dr. Bronner's too.

  2. im sorry whats magic soap any way im so lost???

  3. I'm able to take the gallon sized jugs back to be refilled in my local area.  The cost is $49.95 for the gallon of mint Dr. Bronners.  I'm in Idaho.  The shop is just a little stand alone (not a chain store) shop that a woman runs out of her home.

I believe in Bellingham, WA there was a health food co-op I could shop at and refill the soap for $35.00 a gallon....but it's been 5 years since I was there.
