I was in BabiesRUs today and saw they had the Dr. Brown's Natural Flow Deluxe Gift Set except it had BPA FREE BOTTLES!!! A store clerk said they had just put them on the shelves. However, I cannot find anything like this online.. not even at BabiesRUs.com.. does anyone know where I can find this online?

It comes with 2oz, 4oz, and 8oz bottles, travel caps, etc.. but all BPA free.

  1. I go to the Doctors office where Dr. Brown works,  although i see a different doctor i asked her about the BPA and she said that he was not to worried about it and now he has BPA free bottles!  What is the deal?

  2. Dr. Brown's BPA free bottles are pretty rare now, because they are so new, however they are no different from Evenflo's BPA plastic bottles. Dr. Brown and Born Free bottles are over priced and the same as any other BPA free bottle

  3. I have found the BPA free bottles, just not in the gift set! Are you giving them as a gift? Maybe you could just buy the different sizes.

  4. I got mine as a gift. I haven't been able to find anymore either...i have ONE 4oz. i was so excited for the BPA free. i breastfeed but we take this one with us everywhere, i love this bottle. If you find where to get them PLEASE message me and let me know!

  5. no need to get fancy for BPA-free bottles:  just buy glass (they're VERY durable - my sister uses only glass bottles and not one has broken in spite of them being dropped by the 3yr old on a fairly regular basis) or polypropylene (number 5).

  6. Although I breastfeed exclusively now, I had to supplement with formula for the first bit.  I have both the glass (4 oz and 8 oz) Dr. Brown's and the BPA free (8 oz) just in case I needed bottles for when she is able to hold them herself.  To be honest, I would recommend the glass ones hands down!  The vent system of Dr. Brown's is unbeatable, it really does work wonders!  Frankly I'm leary of any plastic bottles at this point... 5 years from now I'm sure there will be something wrong with the BPA free ones too...  BPA free bottles are only half the battle, BPA is also in the infant formula cans.  I got all of mine at Toys R Us and toysrus.ca... not sure if you're in Canada or not... but toysrus.com has more Dr. Brown's products than here if you're in the States.  Plus, you can have an email sent when it becomes available... could you not just get it at the store?

  7. I would recommend the Born Free glass bottles. You never have to replace them(only the nipples and silicone parts) and they are way easier to clean than the Doc Brown's. Plastic bottles, regardless of whether or not they are BPA free need to be replaced regularly and can not be placed in the microwave. You can safely microwave and dish wash the glass ones.
