  1. Diagnosis is made after obtaining history of the disease, conducting physical observation of the body and conducting laboratory tests. The mere observation / comments of Dr.Frank can not be taken as real diagnosis.

  2. Firstly, I noticed that your Q&A's are private, this leads me to believe that you didn't actually post the question atall and if you did, I find it hard to belive that Dr Frank would attempt to diagnose your condition, I have NEVER seen him diagnose anything on here.

  3. He is a real doctor. Don't be so rude to people trying to help. I doubt you even read his answer properly anyway. He's giving his professional advice, not giving a diagnosis as he can't do that unless he sees you.

Even I know that high or low blood sugar can be caused by many things.

I'm a law student and the only person who has done anything wrong is you, by spreading slander.

  4. Dr Frank merely answered your question as best he could without DIAGNOSING you.

It would be impossible to VIRTUALLY diagnose anyone on the internet!!

If you thought you could get away from going and paying a real actual licensed physician, then you were the idiot.

Also you need to get back in the classroom and pay attention to the teacher who is trying to teach you to spell correctly.

  5. I gather that the question you are referring to is the one linked below.  Quite frankly I think you are way out of line.  Dr. Frank gave a reasonable answer, which unfortunately appears to not have been the one you wanted.  You certainly have a right to disregard what he says, but it is inappropriate to question his credentials.  Also, I think you are expecting waaay to much of this Yahoo forum if you think it is an adequate substitute for the diagnosis you should be getting from your personal physician.

  6. Just read your question on hypoglycemia, and Dr Frank's response.

Firstly, you can't diagnose yourself through information from the internet and secondly Dr Frank did not diagnose you either - he gave advice on the concept of hypoglycemia.

  7. In UK the spelling is hypoglycaemia!

Online people identifying themselves as doctors and nurses are a bit suspect.

Any one can be anything online, it's easy to read textbooks, type or copy chunks of information over and over again.

Ibobeck was one of a trio - or a stalker.

Ignore negative criticism,we are all entitled to an opinion.

It is difficult to diagnose without knowing a person's medical history, no way ask questions, conduct an examination and do necessary tests.

  8. It is hard for a doctor to diagnose anything without actually seeing you and doing tests.

  9. Doctors get things wrong all the time, especially bogus online doctors

  10. Sorry I read the question and rechecked my comments. Everyone else seems to have read both and agrees. You asked about hypoglycaemia and I explained to you what it was. As Rhianna correctly said it is a symptom, not a disease. It has nothing to do with diabetes. I outlined the reasons it can and does occur and made no attempt to diagnose your problem, whatever it happens to be.

  11. It is a little difficult to make an accurate diagnosis never having met you, cut him some slack. He's going out of his way to help people on here for free.

  12. It's impossible to diagnose online.  You can only type what you know, give general advice and, I hope, a little comfort here and there. Even the 'am I pregnant?' questions - no-one here can know, but hearing other people's experiences helps.

It is per se, not per sa.

  13. If it's the question I think your referring to, I think its the one I  answered to.

Dr Frank did NOT diagnose you; he explained a concept to you in which he was medically correct. I've never seen Dr Frank 'diagnose' any condition on YA, he gives his honest opinions/suggestions. It is always advisable regardless of what you read on here to check everything out with your GP..which Dr Frank himself always suggests. I notice Dr Frank and other health care professionals on YA get rather a lot of criticism regarding 'diagnosing people'. They aren't diagnosing you per sa, they are simply giving their opinion, take it or leave it.

One cannot be diagnosed virtually. You have to be seen in person.

OK I just went back to the question, you evidently haven't read his answer correctly!

    edit

No he did post a question, I remember answering it, in fact, I think I starred it.
