Dr. Maurice Wolin - To Catch a Predator?

Anyone know the current status of this guy? He's the Oncologist who got caught on Dateline NBC's To Catch a Predator show trying to have s*x with a 13 year old.

Maurice Wolin hired high profile attorney Blair Berk (represents celebrities such as Lindsay Lohan, Mel Gibson, etc.). Dr. Wolin attempted to get his case dismissed, arguing that the Dateline sting amounted to entrapment and that there was insufficient evidence to show he possessed the requisite "intent" to commit the crime. His motion to dismiss was denied by two lower court judges. He then appealed to the 1st District Court of Appeals and added two more attorneys to his team, one being a high profile attorney out of San Diego, who specializes in Criminal Appeals. He lost his appeal. He appealed to the California Supreme Court, but they denied review.  After more than two years since he was busted, he finally has his pretrial hearing scheduled for September 5, 2008. His license to practice medicine is still suspended, pending the outcome of the charges against him.
