Dr Yes gets a nod for the Europa Quality Print Handicap
The Class 2 Europa Quality Print Handicap has attracted eleven three-year-old contestants who have their gaze glued at the £10,221 prize money. The race has been scheduled for Wednesday, 17th October at Lingfield over a mile and four furlongs. The entries are diverse as their profiles show different backgrounds and variable rankings through the careers.
Dr Yes has to be the most reliant entry in the line-up with Totalize not far behind.
Dansili’s three-year-old colt, Dr Yes, started the racing career just this season, and has been active five times through it. The last three outings of the Sir Henry Cecil trained have reflected the energies that the three-year-old has devoted for sustaining an acceptable level of consistency. He did not fail miserably in the quest as the most recent attempt was a success, and the two before it were second scores.
The French bay colt ended as the runner-up in the Frank Vindis Maiden Stakes on 27th July, 2012 at Newmarket over a mile and four furlongs. The William Haggas trained favourite entry, Stencive, defeated Dr Yes by two lengths.
The runner-up had, Tom Queally, onboard.
The three-year-old out of, Light Shift, carried the composure to the Lingfield Marriott Hotel & Country Club Maiden Stakes on 10th August, 2012 at Lingfield over a mile and five furlongs.
The winner, Fleur De Cactus, kept the favourite entry of the race, Dr Yes, adrift by four lengths.
A switch from the hands of the jockey, Tom Queally to Ian Mongan saw the bay colt winning the Bathwick Tyres Bath Maiden Stakes on 15th September, 2012 at Bath race course over a mile and 3 ½ furlongs.
The race turned out to be an effortless trip for the three-year-old who had gained the control of the track early on after leaving the eighth stall. His success was not doubted for a second, and he defeated Totalize by 4 ½ lengths.
The 4 to 1 entry retains the same ride for the race today, and will break out of the fourth stall. He won over firm surface, and the ground conditions today are standard to slow.
He will need to look out for Totalize and Representation.
