if ovulateddon the 20th how soon until i could take a blood test to determinen weather or not im pregnant?

after the egg is fertilized, it will travel down into the uterus and implant. the process of traveling and then implanting takes around 7-10 days. the implanted egg will begin to produce hcg once it is implanted and your dr will be able to obtain a conclusive blood test. if you test too early and your level is too low (or non-existent because implantation has not occurred) then your blood test will be inconclusive.
