Dr hd 100 quicktime clips

Question

we are using the dr hd 100 on board a jvc hd 250 as a media storage unit.... the clips it records are triggered by the start/stop vtr switch on the camera.. the hard drive records the clips as short clips... my question is... can the hard drive be configured to give me one continuous clip at the end of the day or am I stuck with hundreds of clips l have to drag into FCP?
