Dr told me I had a break in the tendon on top of foot. Keep using it as instructed but won't heal. Any ideas?

I fell down a three foot drop onto my left foot about 4 weeks ago. There was very little swelling but my toes and ankle went black with bruising. X-rays don't show a break but the pain is excruciating. The 3rd Dr I saw told me I had a 'break' in a tendon (his actual word) and to use the foot as much as possible in order for it to heal properly. Is this the right advice? I am in a lot of pain and my foot doesn't seem to be healing. I now have shooting pains through the top of my foot into my leg! Any suggestions or advice would be very gratefully received. Thanks

  1. Doctors are useless and your experience reinforces that view point.

Fix it your self, the basic how to information is here http://www.helium.com/tm/148271

  2. Return to the Doctor, 4 weeks is a long time to still be experiencing pain. Best of Luck
