I took my son to the Dr as he was uncomfortable (he walked around like a little monkey), tender and upset throughout the day. What made it difficult was that I checked him and there didn't seem to be a prob. I thought maybe pants annoying him, rash maybe? But all clear. Then I noticed that his p***s had a slight bump on its side and he pointed and indicated that it was indeed sore. So when the Dr checked him out he was trying to force his f******n back as we pinned the poor boy down. Now I am nervous as he done this process twice and is now on antibiotics. I thought a little pus came out and now wonder was it or that "spagmum?" Anyway, I hope someone may be able to let me know of their experience. Is it wrong for him to do that? Are there consequences?? From a very worried MUM!

  1. My kid used to get infections. Went through the same thing. Circumcision finally took care of it.

  2. it is ok, he was checking for balanitis, infection under the f******n! my boys used to sometimes get it, you have to pull back the f******n to check and also to put the cream on!

  3. I'm not exactly sure about your situation but I can tell you about mine.  I had my twin boys circumsized at the hospital after they were born.  I thought thats all that needed to be done.  After a few months of going in for regular checkups, my Dr informed me that I wa snot cleaning the p***s properly.  I was not aware that I had to pull the skin back to clean.  I thought you only did that for non-circumsized p***s'.  Anyways, when the dr pulled it back to show me, there was loads of white stuff around it.  I think if the Dr hadnt told me about it then, my boys may have suffered like yours.

Hope it gets all better soon!

  4. No no no!

The doctor should NOT be retracting the f******n.  Holy cow.

Please read this, and then tell your doctor "Hands off!"

  5. NEVER let ANYONE force your son's f******n back!  This was done to my oldest son twice.  First it was when he was 2 months old and had been vomiting and was dehydrated.  I took him to the ER (it was a Saturday) and showed the doctor a diaper with a rust colored stain that I thought was blood.  As soon as the doctor saw that, he completely forgot that I was concerned because my son was vomiting profusely and was dehydrated and instead focused on his p***s, forcing his f******n back and making him scream with pain.  He pointed out that since he was red under his f******n he had an infection and prescribed a cream and sent the poor baby home.  The following Monday I took him to the pediatrician who told me:

A:  The p***s is supposed to be red/bright pink under the f******n.  (I'd never seen an intact p***s before my son was born, so I didn't know.)

B:  It was uric acid in the diaper, not blood.  My son had been very dehydrated.

C:  Throw the cream away and leave his little p***s alone.

I followed his advice and all was well until a second doctor tortured my poor son.  (The pediatrician moved to another state, unfortunately.)  My son was 18 months old and this doctor asked how often I cleaned under his f******n.  I said never.  (You're not supposed to!)  She started to push his f******n back and he screamed.  I told her to stop.  She tried again.  I smacked her hand, picked up my naked son, grabbed the diaper bag, and took my 2 1/2 year old daughter by the hand and got the h**l out of there, hurrying through the waiting room with my naked, screaming toddler as fast as I could go without dragging my daughter behind.  I never went back, needless to say.

As far as what might be wrong with your son's p***s, I really don't know.  I suggest emailing the doctors at this website:  http://www.doctorsopposingcircumcision.o...  Explain what your son is going through and ask for their advice.  I'd trust THEM a LOT more than any doctor my kids have been too since that wonderful pediatrician moved away!  While you're there, read their FAQ.  Very informative!

  6. That doctor is a quack.     An infant's or toddler's f******n should NEVER be forced back.

As a result of his manipulation, your son will quite probably develop phimosis, because the f******n opening has been damaged, and the elasticity destroyed before it had a chance to develop.

On reaching adolescence, he will probably have to do some stretching of the f******n opening to achieve/facilitate normal retraction.

Doctors are usually members of the minority religious groups that try to impose circumcision on others.     They themselves are circumcised, and have no idea what it is to be intact; the damage to sensitivity and how a f******n develops.

Infants and toddlers don't need their foreskins to be pulled back, as they are usually fused to the glans, and it isn't necessary to clean under the f******n.

Should further problems develop with your child's p***s, you may have grounds for malpractice--you would need to talk with an attorney about it, and you can contact NOCIRC, an organization founded by a nurse who refused to be a party to the brutality of circumcision.

And the word is smegma, and females produce smegma in the labial folds and clitoral hood, also--which isn't generally known.

  7. This is exactly why my son is circumcised

  8. Of course the doctor had to do that to check to see what the problem was.

  9. ok here is the deal my son had a problem that sounded the same yes the forced the skin back in order to opt out surgeries come to find out my son had too much skin in the shaft and had what they call hypospadia  please have you baby checked out for this it is very serious and could result in kidney failure or death
