Dracula essay in need of help!?

Question

the essay question is "how do prevailing attitudes about women contribute to mina's demise?"

so it means how do current attitudes about women contribute to the fall of mina?

im setting my essay up like this...

paragraph 1: intro

p2: mina's fall and vicotrian england attitudes of women.

p3: current attitudes

p4: compare and contracts past and current attitudes

p5: conclusion

sound good? advice is always nice. :)

It sounds like a good format.

In your compare and contrast with modern society, you might want to point out how 'modern' horror movies continue to have the defenseless 'flighty' woman - and whatever man she's with - die off quickly. The counterpoint to that, of course, is what Joss Whedon did with Buffy the Vampire Slayer, where he pointedly turned the whole idea on its head.
