  1. Every car is different.  Launch as hard as you can while only chirping the tires.  At peak hp or torque you will most likely just spin the tires.

  2. Is this a trick question??There are so many variables at play here,ie.Trans brake, nos, auto, stick, stall converter,1/8 mile 1/4 mile?? Get the idea alot of things come into play so can u be more specific??

  3. As previously stated launch rpm is dictated by where in the rpm range your engine makes the most hp & torque. The best way I can think of to find out where your cars power is at is to have it put on a wheel dyno be it front or rear wheel drive,That will tell you exactly where your car is making the most power thuis determining what your launch rpm should be.

  4. Depends on the stall of the convertor in an automatic car.  You don't want the convertor to still stall when you want to leave, but you don't want to over power it and break the tires loose.  If its a stick car, just find an rpm that wont break the tires loose.

  5. It all depends on the car. The variables would be the configuration (front, rear, all wheel drive), Power (hp & torque), Tires... A lot of it is trial and error.
