Question:

Dragon 10.0 hard to install on Vista?

I installed or tried to install Nuance's Naturally speaking 10.0 on a brand new vista machine but it says that a udpate is pending and that update must be updated and the coputer rebooted for the software to load. I checked all updates and set the computer to receive no updates as Nuance suggested. They also said to remove the software before rebooting but it was not on harddrive. Any ideas?

  1. You may try to look on nuance's site for faqs or resources. I know for dragon 9 you needed to install an update to make it compatible for vista. Check the website you may need to contact a technician I know you are allowed one free, also after you install it you may find sound quality is poor, so you may have to buy a new usb headset because the one it comes with is horrible.
