Dragon Ball z is cut!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!?

I am training my english by buying cartton,but I have a little surprise.I have already watch dragon ball z in portuguese once,and the cartoon were really great but the version in english is completely cut.The history is throw in any manner. The history even do not make sense. what a pity!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Well of course! The American society cannot have curse words or swearing in any shape or form- so instantly Vegeta's dialogue is hung. The censorship in the movies where Gohan was urinating on a monster was poorly bleeped out- there are scenes where the age appropriate audiences should be around 16 and up- but since CN wanted something to get their viewing higher- they adapted and took on DBZ. The most well known martial arts anime known to date [and even still recognized as the greatest of all time.. that's an opinion by a magazine though]

IF you were to go to any other country and watch their version of DBZ it would be a lot different then the American counterpart- because we all know how much America likes to control the media along what we are allowed to view. SO to answer your question- Yes. The American's adaptation is bad, even horrible. They have to make the "g*y" character more demeaning and "flamboyant" since Americans couldn't have g**s running around in anime either. Or couldn't have guns pointed at a young Goku so they completely edit and crop that bit out too!

Just buy the original uncut DVD's you'll love it better.

The early episodes were butchered pretty bad, yes, but they do get better, at some point in the Namek story arc.
