Dragon tree slip or transfer?

HI I have a dragon tree and was wondering how i can take a slip or transfer from it to give to someone else . Is this even possible and if so how is it done? Can I break off a branch and will it root in water or soil? Thanks

the purpose of the above texts is for general info but also it may contain something u may find necessary to look up. like is ur shrub softwood? i think so. but many trees are hardwood. and i did read ur plant has an unusual stem construction.
