Question:

Drain plugged in freezer

Thank you for your help.
I think I have 2 distinct problems.
In the freezer compartment of my side by side, there is a drain below the coils. This drain seems to be plugged causing water to run into the compartment and ice to build up on the bottom.
I'm guessing this leads to the tray on the bottom and is supposed to evaporate.
Is there a way to "unplug" this drain?

The second problem is also in the freezer compartment.
Chunks of ice build up in the coils. This reduces the performance.
What we have done is take a hair dryer and melt the ice.
But how do we stop the ice build up in the first place?

Thanks, again.
