  1. If you get enough suction on the hose to get the water running from the bed to the tub to get the water started it will keep forcing the water out until there is just a little left.  Sitting on the bed would work as long as they don't get too rough with it and pull the hose out.  You can also pull up on mattress corners to keep the flow of water moving.  Good luck.  I hated having to move a water bed.  Went back to a conventional mattress for back reasons.  Loved the warmth of the waterbed though.

  2. doesnt matter if its higher. get a hose, connect it to the bed, run the hose to the bathtub and get friends to sit on the bed as its draining.

just be sure the hose connected to the bed is ACTUALLY connected to the BED otherwise your going to have a wet floor.

  3. Get you a garden hose that'ss long enough to go out the window or out the front or back door. Gravity- the weight of the water along with the pressure will force it out the hose. The shorter the hose the better.

You might need to start the process a bit by sucking on the end of the hose to get the flow going. When the water slows and the beds about empty you may need to start rolling the bed up farthest from the hose to push the remaining water out the hose.

  4. A hose connected from the bed to the bathtub drain is the easiest.  I have a small adapter pump that connects to the mattress so you can start the suction with the pump, then it will empty itself.  If you don't have one of these you might can get one at a local waterbed dealer if there is one in your area
