Draining rod stuck down drain!!!! HELP!!!?

Question

Can someone please help, nextdoor had a blockage of leaves in their outside drain, so we got a draining rod and got them out, but the rod has come unscrewed down the drain so half of it is left in there. Has anyone any idea how we can get it out? Thanks

try finding or go buy a fairly strong magnet and tie it to a piece of string or fishing line. as long as its just laying in there it may work????? if its stuck good luck!!!!!

taking this as an outside roof drain-take the bottom of the drain apart should be but a couple of screws holding it together and pull it out
