Drama Drama Drama ! What should I do ?

Question

So one of my friends (Sean) decided to have a BBQ yesterday. His house is about 30 minutes or so away. I didn't want to drive and I couldn't because my father had the car. So I call two of my other friends Tan, Bri. I asked if they were going to the BBQ..They said yes so I asked if I could carpool and I would give gas money for taking me. They were fine with it.

Strike number one- After being picked up (They were late). We stopped by a gas station to get gas..Tan pumps the gas and then gets back in the car and says there goes 40 bucks. (Is she trying to give me a hint here?)

Strike number two- We get to the BBQ and Tan says I am not going to eat. My mother is going to be making dinner later. She tells Bri that she could come over and eat at her house if she'd like. (Ouch! Leave me out ? I was only standing right there).

Strike number three- So now we left. We are on the way to taking me home. Tan takes the long way around though. Bri asks "Tan where are we going". I look away at this time and hear Bri say "Oh okay". So obviously Tan gave the gesture of taking me home.

Not to mention when I talked to Tan on the phone to ask if I could carpool...She had complete attitude..Like she didn't want to talk. But Bri reassured me and told me thats how she is..."She is not a phone person".

Do I have a right to be pissed ? Come on..I was completly dissed ! Not once..Not twice..3 TIMES !

I know Bri felt bad everytime Tan treated me like c**p just by the expression on her face. But Bri also messed up because she never stood up for me !

Yeah I know I should of said something. But, I didn't. I was in shock and I was hurt.

How would you handle this situation.

Should I ask what their problems are or should I just kick them out of my life ? Honestly I am done with this little HS stuff ! I am way over/done with that.

omgg ik how u feel. theres always one girl that has either some against u, or is mad at u for something, or just doesnt like u. i would kick them out, their not worth it. Dont think of them as people, just annoying things. dont get upset, u have other friends im sure u can hang out wit.

Its not even worth asking and discussing with them. Just kick them out and move on.

1. I am sorry this happened to you, girls can be real jerks sometimes

2. Don't get mad at them, doing this could possibly prove their point calmly ask Tan if she is angry with you. Tell her the impression that you got from the situation and ask her if it is true. If it is get a new friend, no one, deserves to be treated like that. Keep your cool, stay collected be adult like about everything. Also maybe talk to Bri first, ask her what the deal was with Tan, maybe she knows something, and if Bri does confirm what you believe to have happened then you should ask her why she did not stand up for you.

When you say they were fine with it, does that mean they were happy to let you hand over some petrol money or they were happy to not charge you anything?  You didn't mention whether you actually did pay toward the cost.  Not that it matters really, I was just curious.

Your 'friend' Tan seems to have a bad attitude for some reason.....past problems with her maybe?.....the other one seems ok from what you say even though she didn't step in.

I suggest you write this down in your memory-book for future reference but let it go.  If T is not like that all the time to you then it's not too much to ask to ignore it.  But you may want to ask B (who showed some dismay at how you were treated) if she knows anything you should know.

What I don't get is why take you there in the first place if there's a problem with it.

Ok, simply decide whether either is worth any effort at all.  If not then  don't go out of your way to associate with them.  You don't have to hate them or anything, just withdraw and hang out with other friends.
