Question:

Dramatic Monologues?

I need a few people to recommend modern (so, no, like, william shakes, please) dramatic monologues for me. And I'd like it to be a little more lengthly, if possible. 2- 5 minutes.

Doesn't matter if it's from a movie, or a play, or just written by someone, I need more dramatic monologues for my upcoming audition.

Please & Thank You!

  1. How about the Victorian period?

You have Tennyson's Ulysses really asking you to 'strive' forward without yielding but with lots of confidence. I think it should be good for an audition. And there you have Robert Browning with his lovely poems My Last Duchess and Fra Lippo Lippi.

I can't seem to remember anything else.
