Dramatic and Stage focus?

For an assigment they are asking me about dramatic and stage focus.

I dont understand what they are

so my question is:

what is dramatic and stage focus?

okay...it's not just a hard question...it doesn't make any sense. in my 10 years of professional theatre i've never even heard someone make up terms like that, much less use them in a professional capacity. i'm not sure if there was a gap in translation, if the people who are assigning you this work just don't have a clue, or if....yeah, i just don't know. even when i try to break down the works seperately to define and then put them back together, it just doesn't work. i'm going to plead complete ignorance on these guys but i have a hunch that no such term exist....

there is a stage focus theatre...?

they could be POSSIBLY talking about the technical differences of lighting a show (stage focus) and the actual drama on stage but that's a huge stretch. i would double check what i was asking or request another assignment...

wow, tough question. I'll be honest that I don't know, but am just trying to help! maybe they mean where the audience's focus will go on the stage (or group of performers/performace space if there's no set).
