  1. The only anti-biotic you cannot drink with is Metronidazole as it has a really bad interaction with alcohol even alcohol in mouthwashes, you should avoid alcohol for 24 hours after stopping these as well, all the rest are fine.

  2. slow and painful death due to central nervous system breakdown due to mixing alcohol with medicine.

  3. As far as I am aware all the alcohol does is stop the anti biotics working so you are probably just suffering from the water infection.

Common sense I know but just keep drinking lots of water or cranberry juice is good, and lemon and orange (something to do with the acid in it I think)

Hope this helps and you get well soon

  4. Depending on what antibiotic you have taken, with some, drinking while taking it can make you very sick to your stomach.  With most anitbiotics, alcohol makes them less effective.  I suggest you see the doctor again..

  5. It depends on the antibiotic your taking. Only some should not be mixed with alcohol but most are recommended not to be taken with alcohol.

Don't worry about it and complete the course and if you still don't feel better go back and talk to your GP.
