19-year-old was disappointed by the latest development as he had hoped for a longer run in Europe.

The young prodigy was devastated by the way they got knocked out of Europe’s premier cup competition. He further added that there was no reason for them to lose the clash as they were really pumped up for the game. On the
other hand, he claimed that the Miners made a strong comeback after the break and were impressive.
“Of course, it’s very hard to take. We slept in the first half completely. There is no explanation for it because we were full of confidence,” the 19-year-old playmaker added.
“But for the second half you have to praise the team. We tried everything and we were unlucky at the end,” he mused.
“I have no explanation [for the first half]. We were not in the game and we showed no aggression," he stated.
“The concentration was not there and we did not manage to show what we wanted to do at all,” he was quoted as saying in an interview.
Draxler stated that they gave their best and were unfortunate at the end. Head coach Jens Keller agreed with his star player that Schalke did not do enough in the opening 45 minutes. He cannot explain what happened to his
players as they did not get hold of the tempo of the match and lacked aggression in order to dominate the Turkish team at the Veltins-Arena.
