Dreaded mom problems...?

Amy Lee. Used to dress like her but mom threw all my clothes away. Apparently all the makeup looked like a w***e and my clothes were too trashy. I need suggestions to make her let me be me! I tried to change outside of the house but eventually she found them and threw them away. And parents talk so I couldn't leave them at a friends house. It's sad I need clothes to express myself, but that's who I am. Help? (not a poser) >=D

amy lee's style isn't trashy. spend her money to buy your clothes. i don't think she'll throw them out because it's her money.

I used to have that same problem. My mom said i looked demonic? sometimes they just dont get it...depending on your age there may not be much you can do about it. wear the type of clothes that she wants you to wear, but just wear all black. That's how i eased my mom back into it. As more time goes on you can add one thing here and there and eventually you will be back to where u started and she wont even notice. You dont need clothes to express yourself, just be who you are. there are a million other things you can do to express yourself...like songwriting perhaps?
