Dreadlock appearance?

My dreads are about 5 weeks old. I like how they look but when you look at the roots they are really wide at the bottom of some of them. Like they are coming apart. They are long roots to. like a small rectangle instead of circlular. Will this fix or will they not form correct b/c of it?

My brother had dreds and my sister has them along with almost all of her friends

when you have them at first they will look like that but don't worry soon enough they will look like normal dreds it just takes a while for the knots to settle and then they will look like normall dreds

just keep twisting the ends to keep them together

and you should know this but just saying make sure your not using conditioner hahaha
