Last night I had this really bizarre dream that I was sectioned and admitted into a mental hospital.

Does this have any meaning or basis to reality?

Also in the dream I was being chased alot.

Any ideas?

Thanks

  1. I don't know what it means but I the same thing happened to me last night. They put me in a straight jacket and everthing!!

Maybe it means we spend too much time answering random questions!

  2. You have a fear of going mad. Usually being chased means you are anxious about something? Are you anxious about something at the moment?

  3. the good news is your getting a lot of exercise in your dream. the bad news is something in your real life is mentally challenging you. figure out what it is and the dreams will stop.

  4. Sounds to me that you want to help the mentaly ill as in your dream you end up surrounded by them . Hospitals are also a place of sanctuary . Perhaps you have pressures on you that you don't want to deal with (and feel you are incapable of dealing with) . Only speculation .

  5. i agree with Alan, you prob hav issues you don't really want to address and keep running away from it.  And if you don't address it you might go insane...

anyway...no sense in running away because it'll always catches up to you sooner or later.  Sooner the better so you stop having these dreams =p

  6. being chased is generally an anxiety dream.  I would say being admitted to a mental hospital would have similar meanings.

feeling a bit stressed or like you are not coping so well?

that would be my guess.  Also, if the answer is no I would maybe think hard about it - generally when I am stressed, my first response is that I am not.  It generally takes someone else to point it out to me to make me realise!!
