Dream Interpretation: Teeth falling out in rows. What does this mean?

I was at my dad's old house (the one I lived in as a kid when my parents divorced), and I'm in my old room. Then I start to get a small pain in one of my teeth on the bottom left side of my mouth. I touch it and it loosens, and i just take it out. Then, the front four teeth on the bottom loosen, and they come out in a row, connected. THEN the back four on the left side come out connected, too. I go into the bathroom and spit out the blood, put the rows of teeth next to the sink, and stare in the mirror for a few minutes, then wake up. What does it mean? Does the left side have any significance?

  1. To dream that you are bleeding or losing blood, signifies that you are suffering from exhaustion or that you are feeling emotionally drained. It may also denote bitter confrontations between you and your friends.  Your past actions has come back to haunt you.

thats all i can find. dunno about the teeth though.

  2. One theory is that dreams about your teeth reflect your anxiety about your appearance and how others perceive you. Sadly, we live in a world where good looks are valued highly and your teeth play an important role in conveying that image. Teeth are used in the game of flirtations, whether it be a dazzling and gleaming smile or affectionate necking. These dreams may stem from a fear of your sexual impotence or the consequences of getting old. Teeth are an important feature of our attractiveness and presentation to others. Everybody worries about how they appear to others. Caring about our appearance is natural and healthy.

Another rationalization for these falling teeth dream may be rooted in your fear of being embarrassed or making a fool of yourself in some specific situation. These dreams are an over-exaggeration of your worries and anxiety.

Teeth are used to bite, tear, chew and gnaw. In this regard, teeth represent power. And the loss of teeth in your dream may be from a sense of powerlessness. Are you lacking power in some current situation? Perhaps you are having difficulties expressing yourself or getting your point across. You feel frustrated when your voice is not being heard. You may be experiencing feelings of inferiority and a lack of self-confidence in some situation or relationship in your life. This dream is an indication that you need to be more assertive and believe in the value of your own opinion.

In the latest research, it has been shown that women in menopause have frequent dreams about teeth. This may be related to getting older and/or feeling unattractive and less feminine.

Traditionally, it was thought that dreaming that you did not have teeth, represent malnutrition which may be applicable to some dreamers.

  3. I once had a dream about my teeth coming out.  I was told that it was a sign of depression which seemed to be correct.  Teeth represent strength, as in the expression to sink your teeth into something.  So losing your teeth means you feel you are losing your strength.  Of course seeing yourself in the house where you were living when your parents were divorced is depressing.  Why you were dreaming of being in that house, I have no idea, but something is getting you down.  I think the left side does have significance.  If you are a rightie then the left side is your weak side.  Traditionally the left side is the weak or evil side - the word 'sinister' refers to the left side as does the word 'gauche' and the word 'dexterity' refers to the right side.  So it looks like the weak side of you is losing its strength, its joy of life.  Let's hope the right side can pull you out of the sense of foreboding.

  4. The way your teeth are falling out connected and being in the house where your parents divorced is a meant to be interpreted together. I think this means that you are acknowledging that your parents divorce has left you anxious and speechless.

Teeth falling out is a sign of anxiety, of feeling there is demand, but you can't meet it.

I would ask you, what has changed in your life recently...There must be something new in your life that is asking you for emotional intimacy, but this is bringing up your wound from childhood.
