Dream Interpretation? Walking with Jesus.?

Question

I had a dream that I was walking with Jesus. Every once in a while he would stop and make a call using a pay phone. He asked me to wait for him while making a phone call by a broken down red car. As I was waiting for Jesus I saw my children playing basketball in the distance. I asked Jesus if we could go to my children and he said we couldn't because they were in the future.

If anyone could interpret this dream...I would really appreciate it.

It seems like you're trying to process your ideas about Jesus. Do you have a relationship with him? Or do you see him as a disconnected, abstract, far-away helpless person who can't help with your children's future until you get there?

Dreams are sometimes meaningful, but sometimes dreams are the subconscious trying to hash out problems. If you're feeling disconnected spiritually and concerned for your children's spirituality, this dream might be a way for your subconscious to try to work those issues out and get some peace about them.

Obviously, it's a dream that has REALLY bothered you. Take some time and pray about it. If it's important, God won't leave you hanging for long.

In the meantime, read Matthew 5 and remember that Jesus Christ is the same yesterday, today, and forever. (That's in Hebrews, I think.) Do you remember the story where Jesus had all the children come to him so he could touch them? Children are important to him and your loves are too.

That means your children are so blessed by God, if jesus said about your children they were in the past that means something bad for them.
