Dream Show in the limelight of the Owners Bonus Series – Heat 2
A balanced line-up with not so proficient hounds at the defined level along with those who have stamped their greatness over, it has turned up for the Grade A3 Owners Bonus Series – Heat 2. The 500 metres flat race will be staged at Sheffield on Tuesday,
2nd October, 2012. Six are ready to take down the field in order to increase the earnings by £100 prize money.
The 2 to 1 prospect for the race, Dream Show, makes the most reliable option for the event tonight. His composure that has not wavered since the last two tries at Grade A4 level, has built confidence about his chances today in the crowds and the connections
alike.
The three-year-old black and white dog previously tried his luck at Doncaster and now has all the energies devoted for excelling at Sheffield. He has been racing here since August, getting trained in the first half, and then getting in the field with competition
to face in the last five outings.
Two wins out of the five chances that he got is not a disappointing rate.
The J. Smith trained landed the Grade A4 Adopt A Retired Greyhound On 01142 888300 on 21st September, 2012 at Sheffield over 500 metres.
Taking off confidently from the third trap, and then reeling in for the wire had him settling the race in 30.43 seconds. The favourite winner kept the runner-up, Mucky Rising, adrift by 1 ¼ lengths.
Catching up with the third slot was, Wanandonly.
Zigzag Stewart’s son had his next racing stop in the Grade A4 500 metres flat race on 27th September, 2012 at Sheffield. The lucky third trap had him bagging the £86 prize money after clocking the track distance in 30.00 seconds.
Taking advantage of the combination of steering through the traffic, and not compromising on the lead had the rest of the lot filling in slots other than the first one.
His breaking gate for tonight is fourth, almost the middle of the race track which might make it tricky for him to avoid traffic in the field. Keeping a vigilant check on the pace of the rest of the lot will make the race less complicated for him.
