Dream: a text message, a book, and 4 knives??

Question

I dreamt that the guy i like sent me a text message saying everything i want to hear...like that he realizes he wants me, not her...

My uncle gets my phone, reads it, but doesnt say anything but he hands me a book that the guy that I like, had sent me.

I dont remember the book, but I opened it and there were 4 knives in the napkin. At first i thought..."he wants to kill himself??!" I know that wasnt it...so then all of a sudden I grabbed one of the knives and did something to a pore in my arm. So odd, I know...and I don't get it at all.

I've been dreaming of him sending me messages, and we being together, but what exxplains the knives? he's not emo or whatever, but does it symbol sacrifice cause he'd have to leave her?
