Question:

Dream about a child drowning.?

My mother had a dream last night about my two younger brothers.

Rex is 19 and away at basic training in Georgia right now, and John-Thomas is 14 and is staying with our father in Oklahoma.

In my mom's dream, she was swimming in a pool, and Rex was a toddler. John-Thomas was older than Rex. Somehow Rex got out of the house, and she noticed him at the bottom of the pool. She got him out and he was still alive. Someone called 911.

Does anyone have any idea what this means?

I think maybe she's just worried about Rex because he's away at basic training. My mother was in the army, and she knows what basic training was like. She doesn't talk about her experience in basic training like it's a horrible scary thing, so I'm not sure why she would be so worried about him. I guess maybe just because he's her child.

If anyone can provide some insight, I would appreciate it! Thanks!!

  1. dreams don't mean anything except that ur mom was thinking about them alot.

    let me ask you this.

    ask her if she was uncomfortable or cold the night she dreamt this. usually people have sad or cold dreams when they are uncomfortable.

  2. In the dream death puts a person beyond reach which is the situation your mother finds herself in now.  Both of her sons are out of reach, her dream reflects this and her inability (in Rex's case) to change this fact.

  3. Death in a dream is a sign of birth
