I've had this dream a couple of times...I go into my back garden of the house I grew up in and on there is a swan on the grass...as I get closer to it I realise that the swan is actually dying and is being eaten alive my maggots and insects...

Any ideas?

  1. No and quick smoking or popping pills before bed. Oh that was in English should I translate in a different language for you?

  2. Dreaming of swans represents your psyche, your unconscious or hidden thoughts. The fact that the swan is dying represents some hidden thoughts you may be having about becoming. You may be going through some changes in your life or going through some growth and your old thoughts or beliefs may being  replaced with new ones, thus the swan dying.

  3. Maybe your elegance and kindness is dying and you're changing into a different, opposite person by people you know and you don't know you're changing. Maybe that happened in the past at the house you grew up in and people have ignored your change now or they lured you out of your home or your friends and they changed you. You're not protected at home any more. I may be wrong, but that's my opinion. But on the other hand, deaths could mean something good will happen that's the opposite of death, like a birth, a marrige or a new friend. I may be wrong, but that's my opinion.

  4. Death in dreams represents change. If these were recent dreams, it's possible you're going through some kind of transformation/major change in your life.

The swan could also represent freedom. It could be that you feel restricted by something. Maybe you're going through a change and you're scared you will lose certain freedoms.

Just a guess. Look at an online dream dictionary.

  5. You should read The Dream Game by Ann Faraday, it can teach you to easily interpret your own dreams. It's not wise to depend on the interpretations of others since they aren't you and your dreams depend solely on how you perceive things.
