Dream about a salamander! What does it mean?

I dreamt that I was being trapped by a brown/black Salamander, and that I couldn't escape it and get back to the 'outside world'. I was somehow trapped in a Caravan on 'the other side', with some members of my family.

Thanks for any interpretations you may be able to give me!!!

salamanders are used in witchcraft.  someone with an unoure soul is going to try to get to you, you need to stay away from anyone you believe to be a threat to your spirituality, or physical well being.
