Question:

Dream about being held at gun point?

I had a dream last night that for some reason felt significant, as sometimes my dreams do.

I dreamt that I was at a small store or possibly gas station. It was just me and one other person and all the sudden there was someone else and we were being held at gun point. I was laying flat on the ground, but the person in front of me was kind of kneeling. I kept anticipating the gunshot and I knew for some reason that it would pass this other person and hit me. I was so incredibly scared lying there waiting for the pain. Oddly, there were no sounds at all in the dream, it was just me and my thoughts. The dream ended before anything happened, it was just over, there was really nothing leading up to the situation and nothing afterwords.

what could this mean?

  1. Sometimes it may not be guilt. It may just be insecurity when you have dream like that.

Being held in gun shots could also symbolize lack of full control.  Being scared in the dream symbolize fear in reality. This fear may come from insecurity, things you can't control.  The sounds you projected not being there symbolize some will you want to have to take over. In other words, you know you are in lack of control, but you are not willing to suffer the worst consequence.  That is why you have some denial in you.  The sound not being projected may show some confidence in you in terms of facing things that you can't control.  That is positive side of having denial in some way.

  2. This might mean that you are guilty of something and you know it.  And you are waiting for someone to find out.

  3. -thinks for a second- I see...vet as see vat ve hav hea.a vimple nightmare it's bound to be..or you saw Hostag or something...that movie scared me for life T_T
