My mother passed away on June 18, 2008 unexpectly and my son who is 26 had a dream last night that he was with her talking and she was like she was a live, but he said that he knew that she was dead and only he could see her. He said that she asked him to go to Target to pick up a prescription and he told her "Grandman, you are dead." She said, Yes, but I need them. she had her arm amputated three years before she passed away and in his dream she had both arms. What would this dream mean?

  1. First and foremost, please accept my condolence over the unexpected passing away of your dear mother. May her soul rest in peace and may God grant you the fortitude to bear this loss.

Back to your question, probably they (ur son and the deceased grandmother) were very close whilst she was alive; and "she" must have thought that's the only person who could help "her" out to achieve "her" objectives in our physical world.

Your son did well summoning courage to tell the personality in the dream (who might not be his grandmother as I will explain later) of "her" new status. And you need to encourage him more to do so, if need be, to be more insistent with a tone of finality the next time "she" appears to him in dream. Why, you may ask.

FIRST AND FOREMOST, I NEED YOU TO UNDERSTAND THAT I HAVE GREAT REGARD FOR PEOPLE LIVING OR DEAD, INCLUDING YOUR DECEASED MOTHER. SO I WOULD APPRECIATE IF YOU SEE MY ANSWER AS NOT HAVING ANYTHING NEGATIVE TO DO WITH YOUR LATE MOTHER, WHETHER INTENDED OR ATTEMPTED. I HAVE ADDRESSED THE ISSUE IN CONTEXT.

You'd realize i have put the pronoun "she" in qoute immediately after my first sentence. I need you to understand that there's a dark world that exists beyond this planet called earth (apart from the beautiful heaven that God created), full of mysteries and mysterious people. The only opportunity creatures in this world ever have to interact with our physical world is through our imagination, and most times, they succeed more with people who had close emotional ties whilst one was alive, as in the case of your son and deceased grandmother. On the other hand, they tend to succeed also with people who were not as close whilst one was alive.

Whilst they use the tool of deception over people with close emotional ties to achieve mischievous goals within families (knowing fully well that the subject whilst alive, commanded great influence over such people), they use manipulation with people with not so close emotional ties to achieve such goals in the personal lives of those individuals.

As a final advice, I don't think you should bother about the meaning of the dream as this may cause some emotional trauma for you and your son, and what started with asking him to go to Target to get prescription might expand to asking him to get a knife or get a prescription for himself and do some damage. And the voices dishing out such instruction disguises it in such a way that leaves the victim with no option than to carry it out.

Just get your son to get it off his mind and go on with his life, encouraging him to be more insistent and tell whoever it is appearing to him in his dreams never to show up again or whatever voices he's hearing to cease. Truth is "they" don't succeed with people who are not cooperating with "them" in any way (either by deception, manipulation, or domination).

But if it gets beyond your control, you might want to seek the help of a professional close to you, or albeit, tell God, your creator about it, for He loves you...and your son....well enough to keep you from any harm.

Best of luck. And stay strong in such a time as this! You will surely pull through.

  2. I think it's just Your Mother reassuring your son, she's ok.

  3. It is common to have dreams about a person that has passed away.  I've had them.  Your subconscious works in mysterious ways.  It could be just something you did that day that reminded you of your grandmother, etc.  Or, like others said, it could be she was letting him know she is ok.

  4. I think it's always good to dream of a late family member or pet. Could be comfort?

  5. i had many dreams about my mother after she passed away. i believe she is just telling the family that she is ok.
