Question:

Dream: bridges with no car?

Last night I dreamed that I was on this bridge that cars usually travel on (not a short walking bridge) where I had to slide down it to get across. It didn't have high guard rails, and I felt like I was going to fall because I was going so fast, but I didn't. I could also stop and talk to others on the bridge. One guy was throwing moth balls into the water.

I've also had dreams where I was on a highway bridge but I again had no car. I had to walk. What do these mean?

  1. Bridge = support

car = decision making, direction driven

Projecting a bridge normally reflects the need of support. However, in your case, cars are no where to be seen in your dream. That implies you are helpless in terms of making decision.

The guy throwing moth balls into water may added the evidence of helplessness.  Basically, you are seeking for attention, or help but deep down you feel no one else can help you on things you want to do  and that is why you had this dream vent out.

  2. it could mean that you're trying to accomplish something in your life but you're not doing it in the best/fastest way.

in your dream you want to get across the highway, but you don't have a car - that's not the best/fastest way to do it.

it could also mean that you don't have what it takes to do whatever you're trying to do in your life... you're lacking your "car" and need to get it.

  3. car usually represents your life.

bridge would represent crossing from one stage of life to another-

    transitioning.

are you moving in the direction that you want?  or is something preventing you from doing that?

see if any of those symbols fit.

    God bless.
