With 221 victories Stribling has twice as many KO's as Conn had victories.  Conn would have been too brave for his own good again and walked into something big.

You know Conn was as tough as they get, but ran into trouble against hard punchers. He fought a prime Joe Louis almost won the fight then got careless and got KO'd. The second time he went out a little bit quicker. Young Stribling was only KO'd once by a prime Max Schmeling. If Conn boxed he would get away with the win, but if stood and traded Stribling would lace his boots up for him early. I would give edge to Stribling because he had more pop and was not a bad boxer. People forget he had excellent defense.. Stribling by late stoppage around the 11 or 12th round.

I'm not sure their is any footage of Stribling though his record is impressive it's hard to judge accurately.i do know Conn's pedigree though and he was awesome against Louis,Ive the first fight in my collection.It's one that you tend to fight with Conn and when he slips up in the 13th makes me angry!But that's life and the great Billy Conn,Irish to the bone,took it like a man.For me Id have to say Conn by DEC over 15 against Stribling
