Question:

Dream of Van Gogh ... what do you make of it?

I had the MOST interesting dream a few years back. See what you can make of it!

I visited a house where I used to live. In the dream, I still owned the house, but "couldn't afford to live there."

There I saw a group of people sitting around a table painting on a single canvas. This is quite a remarkable activity for a group to undertake together, but I didn't hear a lot of arguing. Of course, there was a dominant voice or two. I became part of the group.

When "finished", the canvas held a pretty good "copy" of a Van Gogh painting. Some of the details had been sacrificed, but if you didn't compare it to the original, side by side, it was amazingly good.

Running out of space! Continue here:

  1. Your dream speaks to me esp. that part about fixing people. There is something in us which makes us want to fix people which results in much unhappiness for us. We all come to realised that we can't fix anybody and we have to leave it to God to finish the work in all of us. He loves us inspite of our faults and shortcomings. I have recently learnt to be less dogmatic and therefore has become freer in myself. I remember the face of my mother when she died.. it was as though she saw the face of an angel or the Lord. And I hold on to that to remind me not to strive.

The first part of your dreams suggests that you have become a part of a group that produces/creates something very good that grows and changes in amazing ways which delights you and is able to influence other people. Thanks for sharing it. It has blessed me. :)

  2. One interpretation:

"Being unable to live there" indicates you need help...from a group...even though "you're in charge."

The harmony of the group reflects wisdom, wise dominion, i.e., the 7th or crown chakra mediating the 6th chakra of Light.

It is as a "School of Light" experience.

The "copy"ness is "Truth in Love's Light."  You may not be able ("afford") to "connect" with van Gogh's "aura" on your "own," but as a harmonious member of a group effort, you share in the glory (glow-ray), much as in a classroom unity experience which is "worthwhile."

You might enjoy Mark Prophet's "The Masters and Their Retreats," O. M. Aivanhov's "Light Is a Living Spirit" and "Creation:  Artistic and Spiritual," and Ann Ree Colton's "Watch Your Dreams."

Helen Greave's "Testimony of Light" examines "group efforts," as does Free and Wilcock's "The Reincarnation of Edgar Cayce?".
