Dream of swimming in lake?

Question

I dreamt I had a scuba diving lesson in a lake. Then I was leaving the lake, trying not to hit others who are still scuba diving.

The surface of the lake is calm, no tide at all but the water is dark, just like how a lake should look like...

There are also many fishes (no, I didnt catch them) in the lake as I was swimming to the cottage. Oh ya, there was this old man (50-55ish) who is one of the trainer was sitting in a boat beside me and talked to me but I didnt remember what he was saying.

Maybe my dream occured because my friend just offered me a scuba-diving class a few days ago and I watched Wanda Sykes on Youtube talking about racist dolphin before I slept. But Im so worried cos my mom said dreaming about water usually means something bad luck is about to happen. Yeah, I know, its superstitious but can you help me to intepret this dream?

I did do my own research but I just like to have other viewpoints on my dream.

I think you are going through a stressful time in your life. Normally, dreams about swimming portray great stress whereas having an instructor/trainer means that someone will be helping you to get through whatever you are going through. I'm not too sure about the scuba-diving, but I think it may imply that you will find a new way to deal with your stress. It's possible that scuba-diving will be your outlet...I hope this helps you. I have a friend who does alot of readings and tarot card kind of things and I called her for this information.
