Dream that Fiance dates Mom?

Question

You can chalk this up with several other weird dreams i have been having lately. But in short, without getting into any odd details: I dreamt that I caught my mom & fiance secretly dating.

Ugg -- am I terrible? I feel really violated, even as I'm already awake and moving around. What do dream interpreters have to say about this kinda stuff?

I suspect that on some level you detect a chemistry between your fiance and mom that has provoked a jealousy response - if only on a subconscious level. And/or there might be something about either of the two that has you thinking they would be better matched than you and your fiance. I would sit down and write on a piece of paper what you like/love about your fiance and what you dislike/hate. Then do the same for your mother. You might discover some similarities that comfort or disturb you.  Something else to do - When they are in the same room together, watch them closely and ask yourself what, if anything, about one reminds you of the other. Do you like that or not?  Depending on your relationship with your mother, this could be a warning sign. On the other hand, your insecurity might be telling you that your mother deserves someone like that more than you do.  OR, your subconscious might be telling you that your financee seems too much like a parent. Some fruit for thought, my vexed friend.

well well..  Seems to me you may be feeling some kinda pressure... and need a release.. or somehow you self consciously think about you guy being with another woman and not just any woman one that more than likely closest to you.. which makes it all the worst.. seems like an insecurity.. like maybe your not meeting your partners needs or you feel like your not making him happy.. i find that many dreams stem from what really in the back of your mind.. in order to let go of the dreams.. talk to him about it and get you feelings on this out..  a little reassuring alt to make it all the better..

May be, your mom never approved of your dating habits. And this is your way of taking revenge at her for all her dis-approvals. You are sensible enough not to think on those lines in your wakeful conscious, but dreams do free you from the restrictions you face in normal life and that's that.
