Dream with dolphins??

Question

I've dreamt of dolphins before...it was very pleasant! They were happy and i was really close and admiring them! That was about a month ago. But last night, my dream wasnt as pleasant. This is going to sound strange but, i was playing volleyball in the water with a few people (cant remember who) and in the game, they had dolphins as a part of the game and they took the baby ones, separated them from their mothers and killed them to use in the game.......i'm not sure for what though. I just felt so, so bad for the dolphins and how sad they looked and i kept saying "cant we just play with the ball and leave the dolphins alone?" It was very weird and I do know that dolphins associate with our emotional side...so what does this actually mean?

I bet it means you dont think anybody but you knows or cares about what you care about.  Dont matter if its dolphins or dogs or horses.

Volleyball in a pool sounds cool.

I have also dreamed of dolphins before and it was wonderful!

Dolphins = optimism, and freedom.

Separation = you are feeling torn apart and divided and your feelings are pulling you in opposite directions.

Volleyball = your indecisiveness and your inability to make commitments.

Alternatively, as you say, dolphins associate with our emotional side.

Perhaps there is something gnawing at the back of your mind and you long to be free of it, but you are unable to commit yourself to doing so. Because of this, you feel awkward and torn two ways.

maybe you have friends that are being detremental to your mental or emotional health. you 'play volleyball' with them in waking life by hanging out, going to school, whatev. and the dolphins represent emotions or wisdom, so maybe they are hurting you there. or maybe, because it was baby dolphins they are killing in the dream, you are realizing that things are not what they seemed when you were a child.

Dolphins

Dolphins are highly intelligent mammals, and as such represents the mental attributes and accomplishments involved in the dream itself. dolphin = wisdom,

baby dolphin being taken away and killed in the game = helplessness

When you check the website, you often will see something about emotions, wisdom.  However, when we interpret dream, we have to look at the whole picture.

You are feeling the need for attention. The baby dolphin symbolize the need for caring, the need for attention.  When you project the separation from the mother, that suggests there are things you are feeling helpless.  Perhaps, lately something happened to you that may go beyond  your ability and intellegence and that is why you vent out this dream.
