Dreamed with Hecate (Wicca) Goddess?

Question

Only for Wiccans, I just started solitary practices this weekend with my husband and been reading alot. Last night I had a dream with name being repeated several times and I would also see my husbands face like a image. Whats does this mean.

PS please I dont want any jokes, this is serious matter.

I dont know much about wicca but may i suggest that you ask it in the Religon and spritaulity section as well?

My thought is maybe its the Goddesses way of welcoming you into the community?

the usmic site is propaganda and won't help with this question.

A lot of people have dreams about new religions during their "conversion" process... I believe some of them to be simply because the religion is on our mind a lot at that time, our mind has been taking in a lot of information and is processing it.

It could also mean Hecate is calling you and your husband as her Priest/Priestess, has a message or a lesson for you, etc. Try meditating together and visit Her in your meditation.

It could mean Hecate represents something you need right now or going through right now-- wisdom, experience, or transition. Your husband's image could mean he has the same needs/is going through the same thing.

Try keeping dream journals by your night stands, or a recorder of some sort (I personally can't do the writing when I wake up w/a dream, it takes too long and I can't get back to sleep). I wake up sometimes in the morning and rewind my tape and find I woke up at some crazy hour and spilled the info on a dream I'd had and went back to sleep-- and would never have remembered it otherwise.
