Dreaming about houses. And an artistic cat?

Question

A few weeks ago I dreamt about looking at houses and choosing which one I prefer out of what looked like a small neighbourhood. And a few nights ago I had a similar dream looking at different houses and I must have chosen one because I found myself inside it and I was with my group of friends with cups of tea. And when I went in another room my cat was there drawing with charcoal with her mouth. It was a drawing of a woman that was meant to be some famous model but I can't remember if she was a real person or not. And she was actually there with my friends which was weird.

Do the houses mean something if i dreamt of them twice? I'm not looking for any in real life, but I do often think about where I'd like to live when I leave school and have a job and what i'd like my house to be like n stuff.

And the cat...?

I think this is more about feeling comfortable in your own skin, rather than a house.  Maybe recently you have been seeing and experiencing new things and looking ahead to the future. I think you are learning who you are, in relation to others, the way you react compared with your friends.  Perhaps a situation around you has made you realise you don't think the same any more. I think the cat is about testing out your feelings, ideas and opinions.
