Dreaming about the end of the world.?

Question

Ever since I was a kidI have had vague dreams about the end of the world, and I had one again. In my dreams I keep seeing everyone scared, and everyone is being evacuated somewhere. Like the Earth isn't safe anymore.

Why Have these dreams been happening all my life, is the end aproaching or am I just crazy?

1) Maybe you are really predicting it...just nobody knows when it will happen. It will happen eventually though and you/we may not even be there to see it.

2) You are in a transition in your life i.e. things changing, old things being left behind.

3) Earth has never been safe...this isn't a new thing. At any moment the planet can decide she's had enough of us and just wipe us out.

4) Maybe you are insane but it's unlikely. Lots of people have weird dreams and most don't mean anything. If everyone's dreams really came true, the world would be in serious trouble!

If it's really bothering you, seek help. Otherwise I would not worry too much. Sometimes dreams don't always mean what we think!

Well,in my opinion its approaching,and its not only my opinion,i have read the Holy Quran and the bible,and both saying that the end is near,but not the end of the earth,its the end of time,in muslims religion its said that time has been like a very old lady waiting for its death,and these words are from about 1431 years,so its very near, from another point of view,it could be the end of the earth due to the massive pollution and ignorance we have towards our planet,we could end up just like WALL-E,living in a huge space ship and leaving the earth for robots.

OR:you could have seen what happened to our planet in another dimension in another time.

OR:we two might be just crazy :P   ,lolz

Who knows.... I mean, I don't think dreams make a lot of sense. I've had multiple dreams about a British guy named Raymond who looks like a young Colin Firth. Does that mean Raymond's my soulmate, and he's somewhere out there? Probably not. I think dreams are manifestations of what you WISH you had, or (in your case) manifestations of the turbulence going on in your life.

it's probably just one of those dreams. in a certain period of my life, i kept having these dreams about falling down a hill with a big cat and not being able to get away. every time, it was a different big cat- tiger, lion, snow leopard, etc. it'll probably go away. otherwise, who knows? you might be onto something!

I have the same dreams every night. I think it might have to do with subconscious insecurities. Nervousness over things you cannot control.

honestly, i think you're overreacting and relying on your dreams to be premonitions.  Dreams don't do that, when you go to bed, a mental image "appears" of what you at the time are thinking of.  It's not that different than being awake.  and like being awake, your mind wanders, and responds to what you see in your dreams.  what i'm trying to say is that you have correlated sleeping with the end of the world, so...you are going to have a dream of the world ending.

I think these dreams mean that some part of your life is changing, or something is ending so that you can move on to something new.

Well, I remember having several dreams like that when I moved out of a place I loved and graduated at the same point in time.  That was definitely a big changing point in my life.

That is really neat. I think it's a good thing. The fact that they keep happening means there must be some kind of warning or maybe you should Wright a book or a script for a movie. 9/11 type of thing?

have you been taking any new types of medicine?  or a medicine all your life? I've found that my zoloft , blood pressure meds and occasional MSG in my orange chicken give me weird dreams that seem so real. I had one last night that made my day so weird. but it's in frequent for me. I would say that you are normal but chemistry changes in the body can give you weird dreams. I had a dream that my work partner died in a car crash. weird. it never happened. dont lose sleep over this. I used to dream about every dream when I was a kid about ET tickling me. I know it sounds weird but I would have so many dreams about ET. Our minds are weird. dreams are like screen savers and it's on random. my grandma had a dream after my grampa died about a rattlesnake in her garden and the next day she was in the garden and there was a rattle snake there in the exact same spot. sometimes dreams have supernatural qualities but I wouldnt say that all of your end of the world dreams would all combine to equal some sort of a future. it's just your imagination. just relax your ok. :  )
