  1. I personally think that he should let a pastor pray with him about it. I can't imagine how scared he must be. Might I also suggest that you both pray asking Jesus Christ to protect you both from all harm and anger. Ask God to put a special protection over your boyfriend.

  2. how old is he now? maybe it was something he did on that day, like a bad day that day or he didnt feel like he had a good b-day so he wanted to die?

  3. Dreams can be omens.  Although is does happen that people get warnings of their own death, dreams of death are usually dreams about transformation.  It could be telling you both that he is heading for a big change in his life.

  4. Lincoln dreamed his own death.....but this may just be a coincidence

  5. Depending on his age now (and I take it '24' is in the future for him) this dream appears related to some anxiety about being able to see the fruits of earlier efforts to succeed.

24 years of age - give or take a few - is nearly talismanic in terms of reaching maturity and finding that vital toe-hold in the career world.  One dark idea haunts some people about this - that all the hard ground work done through academics and such may be prematurely quashed by some tragic event that deprives them of knowing the benefits of their efforts.

That the theme never changes may simply relate to the same recurring, subconscious fear that he may hold in this way.  Explore that with him.  Perhaps in considering this in a waking way he can come to understand the thing for what it is - a normal but undesirable anxiety that can be surfaced and dealt with to rid him of such dreams.  In all likelihood he will have a good and long life and prosper well - that is the focus he needs in order to set this thing aside.

Consider these points - they are suggested by what you've shared.  I hope they are useful to him in ferreting out meanings and perhaps easing the burden of these dreams - they cannot be pleasant.

    All the best to you.
