Question:

Dreaming of miscarriages...?

For the last few weeks I've been having dreams (3 times a week) that I have a miscarriage. I'm NOT pregnant, but I am sexually active.

In my dream I don't realise I'm pregnant until I have a miscarriage. It's really painful and I wake up crying and huddled in a ball. It's a really realistic dream as well.

Does anyone know why this could be happening and what it means?

  1. maybe you might be paranoid about getting pregnant?

  2. Symbolically a miscarrige can represent an idea or plan that hasn't followed though or has gone awry.

It is however common that if you are sexually active (but not planning a pregnancy) for pregnancy dreams to fall in harmony with your monthly cycle. With these dreams there can be a lot of anxiety - sounds a lot like yours does.

  3. This dream is about disappointments or missed opportunities.

It could even represent missed opportunities to conceive, if you are trying.

Anyway, what are you hoping for and missing out on?  What are you trying for, but have not yet succeeded?

I pray God's very best for you.

  4. i don't think dreams have relly ever been decipher accurately.  My advice is to not avoid thinking about the dream.  Try and control your dream and maybe some clarity will come from it.  Keep in mind, that is all it is, a dream.

  5. I had a similiar dream once.  It could be a sign that your periods are coming up.

  6. Have you known anyone who has had a miscarriage recently?

    or

Have you seen a movie or something of that nature??

  7. I would suggest there is something in your life that you wish to remove.  Since you mention you are not pregnant but sexual active this is likely a relationship with someone.  The dream suggests that you are not consciously aware of the difficulty in this situation but it is potentially emotional painful.  I would guess the sooner you make the needed changes the easy it will be and the long you wait the more painful it will be.
