Dreaming that I need to use the toilet but for some reason I can't?

Since I was about 9 (I am 20 now) I can remember having these dreams every so often. They'll start off normal but then I'll need the toilet but for some reason I can't pee, sometimes all the cubicle doors are missing or people will keep peering over the top looking at me or once all the walls around the toilet were made of glass. Sometimes the toilet itself will be broken or instead of a toilet there'll be an armchair. Sometimes all the cubicles are busy and noone will let me use one or it's a paying toilet and I have no money.

The toilet/toilets are always different, sometimes they're in a house or restaurant or outside, sometimes they're public toilets and the reason I can't use the toilet is always different but I always need to use the toilet but for some reason can't.

Anyone know what this is supposed to mean??

  1. I think this is about your vulnerability. Something that happened around that age maybe made you feel self concious and you may have wanted to just hide and not be noticed. a feeling that has stayed with you of never really being good enough.

  2. I have a similar dream when I have started a new job. I think this kind of dream may be fear based, and a bit of vulnerability.

During the day, assert yourself beyond your comfort zone and picture yourself on the other side of completing specific tasks as you begin them. You are able to see yourself completing something through to lunch breaks or any breaks during the day. And, take your breaks. You will feel so good about yourself and have renewed strength upon completion of tasks. Take it one at a time. Do not push yourself too much. Listen to conscience, it does not lie to you.

  3. Wow, well, it sounds like in times of stress, you need some time to yourself to look over your private feelings, sort things out, and release those feelings which are not doing you any good, but looking at this imagery, it seems as though you don't have enough privacy in your life to just go be to yourself and think for awhile, and it is causing you "emotional constipation", so to speak.  Perhaps you need to find a way to spend more time by yourself each day, even if it means needing to assert your boundaries....try to find a nice way to do so, even if it means you need to spend an hour each day in your room journaling, or something like that, try to find a nice way to get across that you need some private time to yourself.....good luck....

  4. omg i have these dreams to, but i dont know wut they mean

  5. you need to ask yourself what does toilet mean to you and I mean not just the obvious ......symbols mean so many different things to different people ... for example : if this was my dream it would mean ,toilet ..a release of some issue and privacy, not having it ...And  think about How You FEEL in these dreams it takes practice I suggest to write them down come back to your notes ..their could be a issue that you have had since age 9 ?
