Question:

Dreaming while awake?

Today, I woke up from a seven hour sleep feeling a bit beat and tired but seemingly good enough to be able to last the entire day until the next night's sleep.

So I sat down on the couch, and started watching soccer. I watched 40 minutes of it without a problem, but then I started dreaming while I was awake. My eyes were unwillingly closed. I would dream about doing daily tasks, like chatting on MSN, and would move my arms forward in the manner of typing a response, only to realize that I wasn't actually doing those things and that it was just the state of mind that I was in. After 5 minutes of those tasks I passed out without knowing.

and during my sleep --you know when you sometimes regain consciousness and roll around for a couple of seconds before going back to sleep-- whenever that happened my body felt so heavy (stone heavy) that I couldn't move it and just continued my sleep in the same position.

I slept a good 3-4 hours before waking up.

  1. I had that before.

Last year I dreamt that I was doing my homework, but I wasn't actually doing it.

I have no idea what it is but I think it is slightly like sleep walking.

It could even be night terrors!

Or sleep- computing in your case.
