Dreams Of Glory to continue his winning streak in Stadium Bookmakers Sprint Trophy at Nottingham
After his four consecutive wins including three at Nottingham, it is almost impossible for us to ignore Dreams Of Glory’s winning prospects in Stadium Bookmakers Sprint Trophy, being hosted by Nottingham on Monday, February 4th.
The black dog put his campaign on the winning ways on January 8th, when he impressed everyone at Sheffield. It was not an easy 280 metres contest. After leaving the sixth trap, the dashing hound demonstrated a superb act, bagging the first rank
easily by 4¾ lengths.
He reached here on a winning note. On January 14th, the son of Blackstone Gene sealed the victory only by a short head’s distance. He did well under tremendous pressure, and eventually beat Chester Lad narrowly. Another close success came to his
way on January 21st, when he completed a wonderful hat-trick.
After stepping out of the fifth box, Charlie Lister’s charge showed immense pace, and established his dominance at the first run. He, however, could not stretch his advantage, and stayed under pressure throughout the battle. Nevertheless, he captured the
first position by a short head’s distance.
The Jan-11 hound registered his fourth consecutive win on January 28th. In a 305 metres race, he stayed ahead all the way through, and eventually beat Little Reminder by a length’s margin. Having done well in four successive races, the dog is
on song at the moment. Standing in the sixth box, he is facing no draw issues.
Among the rivals are: Kilmalady Fox, Lionhearted Andy, Ramodi, Salacres Chip, and Fridays Dynamo. The 305 metres race is scheduled to begin at 20:04 GMT. A cash prize of 150 pounds is reserved for the big champion.
Ramodi drops down in trip, and the red box looks helpful. Kilmalady Fox is out of action since his runner-up place in the National Sprint final. He is unlikely to make an impact straight on his comeback.
Salacres Chip won here last week, but this looks a hotter line-up. Fridays Dynamo is not as quick as a few others in the pack. Lionhearted Andy has some good times at Sheffield, and looks a dangerous fellow. Good luck to all the hounds.
