Dreamweaver help...?

Hi... I made slices in photoshop of a perticular template and saved all the .gif images in the same folder, when the photoshop makes the HTML file for that template, the file when i open in the Dreamweaver, the html file displays the same size as photoshop template size, when i view that file in web browser i gets the small size image.

PLEASE HELP ME ON THIS TOPIC...

  1. Please restate your question.  It is too confusing.


  2. I suspect that you have been using the WYSIWYG editor in Dreamweaver, this is not recommended, especially not for people who don't know what they are doing.

    The problem you describe indicates a problem with your source-code, basically anything can be wrong from the limited information you provided, one guess would be that you haven't defined, or incorrectly defined the width and the height of the images.

    You should define the width and the height using a valid Unit of Measurement, it is recommended to use either PX or EM for images, where PX is to prefer in most cases. See: http://www.brugbart.com/References/53/ - Units of Measurement
