Dreamy Ciara to pair up wins by bagging the E B F Betfred “Will They Won’t They” Novice Stakes at Nottingham
The Class 4 E B F Betfred “Will They Won’t They” Novice Stakes are to be held at Nottingham over five furlongs and thirteen yards on Wednesday, 11th April. The £4, 528 race has been successful in attracting four two-year-olds. The contestants
include Black Monk, Frosted Off, Yes Two and Dreamy Ciara.
The only candidate to have raced at all is Dreamy Ciara, Multiplex’s two-year-old bay filly out of mare Billie Holiday. She has two career starts registered with a seventh position in the seasonal debut and a victory in the very next try. Not only her own
record surpasses the rest on the lineup rather her trainer, David Evans, had bagged the race three times already during the course of the last four years through seven of his entries.
The remaining three are to race their career debuts today. Among them Black Monk is the one with exploding chances yet again due to the high credentials of the trainer, Richard Hannon.
Dreamy Ciara started the career on 31st March in the Williamhill.Com Maiden Fillies’ Stakes at Kempton over five furlongs. Not an impressive entry as she ended seventh on the lineup of eleven while riding with Padraig Beggy.
The race was won by Woodland Mill who was soon followed in by the 11/4 favourite runner up of the race, Ceiling Kitty. Holding on to the third position after the winner was Poetic Princess.
Owned by Mrs. Emma Ambrose and bred by Mrs. Shone, the two-year-old was sent for the second outing of the debut season on 4th April, hardly after three days of the first attempt at racing.
Dreamy Ciara won the 32Red.Com Fillies’ Maiden Auction Stakes at Wolverhampton over five furlongs. She shoved the evening’s favourite, Poetic Princess, out of proportion while leading by a mere neck’s difference with Cathy Gannon onboard.
Settling into the third slot was Jamnean.
Dreamy Ciara is to race through the third start of the season and will once again get paired up with Padraig Beggy who joined her during the seasonal debut. How successful will the two prove out to be today, will become news soon.
She will have to look out for Black Monk who has the potential to threaten Dreamy Ciara’s victory today.
